The Cases

After speaking to Lauren Frasure and Gregory Vasturino from the State Attorney’s Office on October 1, 2019, Jeremy Dewitte was arrested shortly thereafter.

His second arrest would occur in the latter part of October 2019 and he was again charged with impersonating a police officer as well as two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

This particular arrest sparked more media attention and Jeremy Dewitte’s life began to have a spotlight placed on it. During his in-jail arraignment Jeremy appeared to cry and stated his wife recently had a miscarriage.

Seemingly sympathetic the female judge allowed Jeremy Dewitte to post bond. It seemed as if the holidays would be a quiet time for Metro-State Special Services.

However Jeremy Dewitte was arrested for a third and final time, at least in the year 2019. In November he was charged with one count of falsely personating a police officer. This case was filed in Osceola County.

In 2020 Jeremy Dewitte would again face multiple charges, many of which we will get into in separate posts.

For now it’s interesting to look at the number of cases and the number of individual charges Jeremy Dewitte is facing for crimes as recent as 2019 and as distant as 2017.

In Orange County Jeremy Dewitte currently has nine felony cases open and active. In Osceola County he has one case open for falsely personating a police officer.
